Highly Tunable, Flexible and Stretchable Frequency Selective Surface-Based THz Bandpass Filter

We report on a mechanically tunable THz filter based on highly flexible and stretchable elastomer comprising metallic nanostructures. The detailed numerical studies show that the proposed structure provides band-pass filters with the linewidths of 23 GHz and 170 GHz at 0.15 THz and 0.825 THz, respectively.
