Organic Luminophores with Fluorine-Containing Substituents
1988
Abstract The results of experimental investigations carried out by the authors of this review and their coworkers in the field of fluorine-containing luminescent compounds having a CN bond either in an open chain or in a heterocyclic ring are discussed. It is shown that the introduction of CF 3 , CHF 2 SO 2 or CF 3 SO 2 groups or of a perfluorophenyl radical significantly affects the spectral and luminescent properties, and in a number of cases the stability of organic luminophores toward UV light is increased.
