Clinical Application of Sky Bone Expender System in the Treat-ment of Vertebral Compression Fracture

Objective To explore the clinical application value of sky bone expender system in the surgical treatment of vertebral compression fracture.Methods Ten aged patients who suffered vertebral fracture(14 vertebras involved)were treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphopalsty with application of sky bone expender system,VAS scores,height of vertebral anterior edge and cobb's angle of before and post operation were compared in statistical method.Result Back pains of all the patients were relieved after operation;the height and cobb's angle improved obviously.No serious complication was observed.Conclusion The clinical outcomes of percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty with application of sky bone expender system in the surgical treatment of vertebral compression fracture have good effects,which can relieve the patients' back pain immediately,correct the kyphosis deformity and resume and keep an effective restoration of vertebral height.
