Use of Ecological Momentary Assessment and Intervention in Treatment With Adults

This article reviews the use of ecological momentary assessment and intervention in clinical research applications, using prompts administered through a smartphone or tablet. This technology can enhance treatment by prompting patients outside therapy sessions in their daily environment.
