A Clinico-Pathological Study on Esophageal Carcinoma Associated with Dysplasia

Epithelial dysplasia of the cervix uteri and esophagus are considered to be common sites of origin of cancer development. However, there are few reports on the histogenesis of esophageal carcinoma compared to carcinogenesis in the cervix uteri. This study reviewed the histological findings of the epithelium in 96 cases with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus.
