FBxW7 as a predictor of outcomes in ovarian cancer

2013
RESULTS: Sixty-five hysterectomy specimens were examined for depth of thermal spread. There was no difference in mean depth of thermal spread at the anterior (1.11 mm vs 1.05 mm; p1⁄40.6) or posterior margin (1.04 mm vs 0.91 mm; p1⁄40.2) between standard energy and V mode , respectively. There was no difference in incidence of vaginal cuff dehiscence (p1⁄40.31), with one dehiscence in the standard group. Rate of vaginal cuff granulation tissue, dehiscence or infection was 24% overall, with no difference between groups.
