Clinical Effectiveness and Changes in Care Utilization Derived from a Military Adolescent Multi-Disciplinary Headache Clinic

2016
Abstract : Multiple studies have been conducted addressing intensive educational programs to determine clinical outcomes in migraine patients in headache clinics. Chronic headaches within the adolescent population have ben shown to have great morbidity on patient lives, including but no limited to missed school/work days, and loss of parental work time getting to appointments. Some studies have been completed regarding chronic adolescent headaches, but at this time nothing has been published regarding multi-disciplinary chronic headache clinics for adolescent children of military personnel. The purpose of this study is to describe chronic adolescent headache patient demographics in a military dependent population.
