ABSTRACT Percutaneous treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions remains a challenge, even with all advances in technique and materials available, such as hydrophilic guidewires, lower profile balloons and drug-eluting stents with new materials, thinner struts and less thrombogenic polymers.
