Analysis of clinic follow-up compliance and postoperative effect of endoscopic sinus surgery for patients with chronic rhinosinusitis

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinic follow-up compliance after endoscopic sinus surgery in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and the postoperative effect.METHODS The questionnaire was filled by ways of telephone interviews.RESULTS 210 effective scales resulted in 176 cases(83.8%) of good compliance correlated with(P0.05) family address,education level,payment method and 34 cases(16.2%) of poor compliance whose primary cause was far distance, significant difference(P0.05,P0.01) was found between the two groups.CONCLUSION Clinic follow- up compliance is necessary to the postoperative effect by reducing the postoperative complications.
