STUDY ON KINETICS OF HIGH TEMPERATURE DESULFURIZATION PHASE OF CALCIUM ULPHOALUMINATE AT DIFFERENT ATMOSPHERE

Dynamic parameters of calcium sulphoaluminate formed in different atmosphere were caculated.Dynamic X-ray diffraction analyses were also used to study the formation of C4A3S at different sintering temperature.The experimental results showed that the activation energy of the C4A3S formation reaction was 228 kJ /mol in the static air atmosphere,at 68 kJ/mol in the flowing O2 atmosphere and at 254 kJ/mol in the flowing Ar atmosphere.O2 atmosphere could decrease activation energy of the reaction effectively,while inert atmosphere(Ar) increased activation energy in minor degree.
