Dynamic change of hs-CRP expression and its clinical significance in the patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage

2012
Objective To study the dynamic change of hs-CRP expression and its clinical significance in the patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods The 50 cases of spontaneous SAH patients were selected as experimental group, and the 20 healthy cases as control group. All cases were rated according to the Hunt-Hess grade when admitted in hospital. The cubital vein blood was collected in the acute phase(1,4,8 and 16 days) and in the recovery phase(1 and 3 months) after SAH.The levels of serum hs-CRP were measured by rate nephelometry and the scores of ADL were evaluated in the recovery phase. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP were higher at 1,4,8,16 days and 1 month after SAH in experimental group than in control group. There were significant differences(P0.01).There was no significant difference(P0.05) in serum hs-CRP level 3 months after SAH between two groups. The levels of serum hs-CRP at 1,4,8,16 days and 1 month after SAH had positive correlation with the Hunt-Hess grade and the ADL scores(P0.01).Conclusion The levels of serum hs-CRP are related to the severity and prognosis of spontaneous SAH patients.
