Renovascular hypertension: screening and therapeutic options.

Renovascular hypertension is part of the spectrum of hypertensive disease. Although uncommon (1% to 5% of the cases) in comparison to essential hypertension, it is a potentially curable form of the disease. We review the different tools available for the evaluation and treatment of this condition.
