COMBINED GRAFT AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF UNSTABLE LESIONS OF THE BODIES OF THE THORACIC AND LUMBAR SPINE

The use of combined graft efficiency in surgical treatment of unstable injuries of the thoracic and lumbar spine in 45 patients (34 men and 11 women) aged from 16 to 62s. The most significant additional studies in the diagnosis of such lesions are: spondylography, computer and magnetic resonance imaging. The dynamics of neurological disorders was assessed using the international scale ASIA. A combined inlay consisting of autostyrene and bone cement provides reliable support of the damaged area of the spine, helps to restore the function of the injured spinal cord.
