Viability of mononuclear stem cells from bone marrow of rabbitsmaintained on artificial ice

2017
This study aimed to assess the feasibility of bone marrow mononuclear cells from eight adult rabbits, male, race new Zealand, after collection and isolation on initial zero and passed 30, 60 and 90 minutes. Cells were maintained in polystyrene boxes with gel ice and artificial viable and unviable were summed to calculate the rate of viability for each pre-set. Mononuclear cells from bone marrow of rabbits in cooler with ice artificial occurs decrease in viable cells after 30 (3.69%), between 30 and 60 (7.06%) and between 60 and 90 minutes (13.57%), with total loss of 46.29%.
