Ankara Keçisi Oğlaklarinin Büyüme Özelliklerine Bazi Çevre Faktörleri ile Amilaz ve Transferrin Tiplerinin Etkisi

The least-squares means of birth and weaning weights and daily gains were found as 3.03 ± 0.106 kg, 7.46 ± 0.430 kg and 81.99 ± 7.276 g respectively, in Angora kids raised in Yerkoy Animal Research Institute (Yozgat). Of investigated factors, it was found that while the effect of sex on weaning weight and daily gain were significant (P<0.05), the effect of dam age, transferrin (Tf) and amylase (Amy) genotype on growth traits were not significant. In addition, it was found that while the effect of birth weight on weaning was not significant and on daily gain was significant (P<0.05), the effect of sucking period on both traits were significant (P<0.01).
