Des Sangjiejiacuo,a Tibetan Scientist and School of Tibetan Medicine at the Yao Wang Shan

Des Sanjiejiacuo(1653-1705) was a Tibetan scientist of the Qing dynasty(1644-1911).He compiled the history of Tibet,local records,history of Tibetan medicine,etc.and collated Yi Xue Si Xu,,a medical book.In addition he drew a series of medical charts,and in 1696 he established a school of Tibetan medicine at Yao Wang Shan to develop medical education.He made great contributions to Tibetan medicine and laid a solid foundation for its development.
