Repair defect of multiple fingers with transferring two second toes reconstructed

Objective: To introduce the clinical effects,repair defect of multiple fingers with transferring two second toes reconstructed.Methods: From August 2010 to June 2013,17 multiple defect fingers were repaired with two second toes at the one operation. Results: All the 34 fingers survived,Postoperative vascular crisis occurred in two fingers which survived after surgical exploration and re- anastomosis of the vessels. Plasty was done in 16 fingers 3 months to 5 months after the primary surgery. Postoperative follow- up ranged from 6months to 24 months,According to the hand functional evaluation criteria,the results of group were graded as excellent in 10 fingers,good in 19 fingers and fair in 5,with 85. 3% overall excellent and good rate. Conclusion: It might be a good way that repair defect of multiple fingers with transferring two second toes reconstructed.
