Metastatic Cancer Involving the Eye
1994
Ten years ago this 52-year-old woman had a stage II adenocarcinoma of the left breast (estrogen receptor/progesterone receptor — ER/PR — positive) managed by a modified mastectomy and 1 year of adjuvant chemotherapy. Her present complaint is decreasing vision in her left eye. Visual acuity is 20/400 and ultrasound shows a mass in the choroid which corresponds to an 8-disk diameter mass in the inferior temporal portion of the fundus.
