Expression and clinical significance of human leukocyte antigen G and E in cervical cancer
2016
Objective
To evalute the clinical significance and effect on prognosis of human leukocyte antigen G and E in cervical cancer.
Methods
To detect the expression of HLA-G and HLA-E gene and protein from the normal group, CINⅠ, CINⅡ, CINⅢ(cervical intraepithelial neoplasia Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ ) and invasive carcinoma group using PCR-SSP and flow cytometry to compare the different expression of both in each group and determine its effect on patients' long-term survival.
Results
U values of HLA-G in CIN Ⅲ and invasive cancer group compared with CIN Ⅰ, CIN Ⅱ and normal group was 564.0, 536.0 and 565.5 respectively (P< 0.05), The Values of HLA-E that was 550.0, 542.0 and 578.5 respectively (P<0.05) ; and long-term survival rate of HLA-G and HLA-E positive patients was significantly worse than the negative cohort (P< 0.05).
Conclusion
The aberrant expression of HLA-G and HLA-E promotes the occurrence and development of cervical cancer, in addition it can affect the patient's long-term survival rate.
