Impact of Poly (Ethylene-Alt-Maleic Anhydride) and Nanoclay on the Physicochemical, Mechanical, and Thermal Properties of Bamboo Nanocomposite

The effect of poly (ethylene-alt-maleic anhydride) with nanoclay on bamboo nanocomposite was reported in this chapter. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were used to characterize the nanocomposites. The mechanical test was conducted and reported in this chapter. The poly (ethylene-alt-maleic anhydride) with nanoclay enhanced the physical, mechanical and thermal properties of manufactured nanocomposites.
