There are works published about pharmacological interactions between ibuprofen and others medicaments, including the Acid acetylsalicylic (aspirin), prototype of NSAID and widely used as antithrombotic. However, the results of previous studies are contradictory. Some dental patients who are medicated with aspirin can be treated simultaneously with ibuprofen, for this reason, the aim of this research was establish if the combination between aspirin and ibuprofen affects the hemostasis in Sprague Dawley rats with labial wounds, and if the effect of interaction depends on the medicaments administration sequence. Sixty male rats were distributed in 6 groups, of 10 each one, and treated once a day by via intragastric with aspirin (80 mg/Kg) or ibuprofen (40 mg/Kg) for 14 or 7 days, respectively; aspirin and later ibuprofen (aspirin - ibuprofen), and ibuprofen and later aspirin (ibuprofen - aspirin). Two control groups received distillated water. At the end of treatments the times of bleeding, coagulation and prothrombine were recorded. It was demonstrated that the animals treated with monotherapy and with ibuprofen followed by aspirin, did not present significant changes in hemostasis (p>0,05); while the combination aspirin plus ibuprofen significantly increased the time of bleeding, in comparison with the groups: control (p
