Application status of ultrasound technique in diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy

2019
Diabetic nephropathy is one of the important complications in diabetic patients, and one of the main causes of end-stage renal failure. Ultrasound has long been the main diagnostic method for diabetic nephropathy. Up to now, the clinically common ultrasound diagnostic methods for diabetic nephropathy include two-dimensional ultrasound, ultrasonic backscatter integral, color Doppler blood flow imaging, color Doppler energy imaging, and three-dimensional ultrasound, etc. These ultrasound diagnostic techniques have a certain value for the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy. This article listed the application status of the various major ultrasound techniques for the diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy, and clarified their mechanisms, so as to explore the value of ultrasound diagnostic techniques in the early assessment and diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy. Key words: Diabetic nephropathy; Ultrasound technique; Diagnosis; Application status.
