The Study Was Based on the Theory of Blood Serum Chemical Pharmacy of Radix Scutellariae

Objective: The study was based on the theory of blood serum chemical pharmacy,which was in order to declare the components absorbed in the blood serum of rats that were given decoction of Radix Scutellariae.Methods: High Performance Liquid Chromatographic analysis method had been used to compare the differences in chromatograms,they were the decoction of Radix Scutellariae and the blood serum with the presence and absence of decoction of Radix Scutellariae given to rats.Results:The disposal method of the blood serum had been set up after multiplication.Twelve out of thirteen components in the blood serum performed the same as those in the decoction,with the same resertative time and absorbance optical spectrum,the other component mightbe the metabolite.Conclusions:The differently performed components in the blood serum and the metabolite had the activity to effect the body,and they are the principal components in Radix Scutellariae.This study was just a base for the further research of the active components of Radix Scutellariae.
