A Clinical Effect of Lamivudine and Shuang Jia Wu Ling Capsule on Hepatic Fibrosis

Objective:To study the influence of Lamivudine combined with Chinese medicine Shuang Jia Wu Ling copsule capsule on the hepatic fibrosis markers and liver histopathological changes.Methods:Fifty patients with chronic hepatitis B were selected and administered Shuang Jia Wu Ling capsule orally six piles each time and three times one day for one year, combined with Lamivudine 0.1g daily, the control group was given liver protection treatment. Then observed the changes of hepatic fibrosis markers:HA,LN,PCⅢ, and ⅣC at the time point 0,6,12 months during treatment. In addition, the needle biopsy of liver were performed in eight patients before and after treatment to observe the histopathological changes. Results:A significant decrease of HA,LN, PCⅢ and ⅣC were observed in the patients treated with Lamivudine and Shuang Jia Wu Ling capsule, histopathological changes of liver which showes reduced evidently in liver cell necrosis and decreased inflammation and fibrosis in portal vein. Conclusion: The treatment of Lamivudine combined with Shuang Jia Wu Ling capsule can reduce the serum level of HA, LN, PCⅢ and ⅣC, and the inflammation, necrosis and fibrosis of liver, and delay the progression of hepatic fibrosis.
