Experimental Demonstration of a SDM Node with Low Power Consumption MC-EDFA and SPOC-Based WSS Arrays

We demonstrate experimentally SDM node using low power consumption MC-EDFA and 6×6WXC using WSS arrays. MC-EDFA reduced power consumption by 16.4% and WSS arrays switched signals of all cores, revealing potential high-capacity scalable SDM node.
