Application of Backfill Grouting Technique in Construction of Large Water Sump in Fractured Rockmass

In Shabatu Phosphorite Mine of Guizhou Kailin Group Co.,Ltd,the main rock mass is red shale,which tends to weaken and disintegrate in water environment.In view of this actual engineering property of red shale,a backfill grouting technique was applied to successfully solve the problems of long-term stability and water prevention for building large water sump in the cracked rock mass in Shabatu mine.The construction scheme,technology and effect examination of backfill grouting for the large water sump are described in this paper.
