Oil separating device for venting a crankcase of an internal combustion engine

2015
The present invention relates to an oil separating device (1) for the separation of oil (10) from a gas stream (11) for venting a crankcase of an internal combustion engine, with a nozzle plate (12) and with at least one web body (13), (in the nozzle plate 12) a nozzle orifice (14) is at least incorporated, through which the (oil 10) laden gas stream (11) from the crankcase can be passed and (on the non-woven body 13) be conducted, and wherein the web body (13) in a housing (15 ) is added. According to the invention in the housing (15) has a calming chamber (16) is formed, wherein the settling chamber (15) is arranged so that - a first web portion (13a) with the gas stream (11) from the nozzle opening (14) into the settling chamber (16) in a first flow direction (I) can be flowed through, and that - a second web portion (13b) with the gas stream (11) from the settling chamber (16) in a discharge opening (17) in a first flow direction (I) differing second direction of flow (II) can be flowed through ..
