The present invention aims to provide a method for producing a conjugated polymer that can shorten the reaction time. Method for producing a conjugated polymer of the present invention is a method of producing a conjugated polymer by Suzuki coupling, which comprises using microwave irradiation. Conjugated polymer is preferably a polymer used as organic electronics material, and more preferably a polymer used as the electroluminescent material.
