Airbreathing hypersonic vehicle design and analysis methods and interactions

Abstract The design and analysis of airbreathing hypersonic vehicles is discussed. Individual discipline methods as well as the extensive interactions among the disciplines are described. Examples of the use of HOLIST, a framework currently in development to modularly integrate the analysis methods for use in design and optimization, are given along with plans for further development.
