Work worth doing: a review of staffing in homeless services.

This survey was carried out on behalf of the South Western Area health Board and the Department of Health and Children. Over 100 service providers responded to this survey to give a clear picture of services available to homeless people in Ireland in 2005. The results of the ten-page questionnaire give a picture of current emergency accommodation, permanent supported housing, womens' refuges and day centres. The survey also looks at staffing and administration of services inlcuding detailed description of staffing levels, training, qualifications and wages.
