Geophysical and geochemical characteristics of western Xar Moron suture zone

AbstractGeophysical field data are used to identify the Xar Moron fault and structural differences on both sides are contrasted, the density in the horizontal and vertical directions is discussed. Based on the analysis of rock geochemistry, the sources of volcanic magma are discussed. The results show that: (1) the Xar Moron fault is a suture which has obvious differences in the crustal structures on both sides. (2) Volcanic rocks on the ground are distinguished by high potassium calcium alkaline series and their magmatic source is a mixture of crust and mantle source.
