Comments on the use of time resolved N2+ (B→X) emission as a probe of charge‐transfer processes in Ne–N2 and He–N2 mixtures

The experiments of Chen et al1,2 on time resolved emission spectroscopy for the study of charge transfer reactions between N2+ and He and N2+ and Ne are discussed and commented upon.(AIP)
