THE KJELLER AUTOMATIC NEUTRON DIFFRACTOMETER

1963
An instrument for single crystal structure investigations by neutron diffraction is described. The device can automatically measure the reflected neutron intensities in one zone of reflections. The measurements are performed by step-scanning the diffraction peaks, the crystal moving at half the angular speed of the counter. The instructions for automatic operation are fed to the machine on punched paper tape, and the output data are printed on adding machine tape. (auth)
