Effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on serum neuronspecific enolase, transforming growth factor-β1, vascular endothelial function and immune function in patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage

2017
Objective To investigate the effects of hyperbaric oxygen on serum neuronspecific enolase (NSE), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), vascular endothelial function, and immune function in hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods According to random data table method, 85 cases of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into the control group (n=42) and observation group (n=43), patients in the control group were given routine symptomatic treatment after operation, on the basis of the treatment of the control group, the observation group received hyperbaric oxygen. The levels of serum NSE, TGF-β1, vascular endothelial function and immune function were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The levels of serum NSE, TGF-β1, nitric oxide(NO), endothelin(ET)-1, CD3+ , CD4+ , CD8+ andCD4+ /CD8+ in the two groups before treatmentwere not statistically significant (P>0.05). After treatment, The levels of TGF-β1, NO, CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ in the two groups were significantly higher than those in the same group before treatment (P 0.05), after treatment, the level of CD3+ of the observation group was significantly higher than before treatment, significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen has important clinical value in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, it can effectively reduce the level of serum NSE, increase the level of TGF-β1, improve the vascular endothelial function and immune function.
