COST-EFFECTIVE MARINE STATIC APPLICATION

Static corrections are necessary in order to image data properly in certain types of marine settings. This paper will describe some of these settings and discuss ways to recognise problems and resolve them by using the available data. This paper tackles the problems involved in one class of marine seismic data processing, which may affect 10-15% of all data collected.
