On all sequences, signal intensity within tumor is similar to that of adjacent subcutaneous fat. A, Axial Ti-weighted image (800/16 (TRITE]) shows well-defined mass with epicenter in subcutaneous fat. Lowsignal-intensity margins surround tumor, and wispy septations are noted, especially at medial aspect. B, Axial T2-weighted image (4000/80 [TR/effective TEl) shows margins and septations remain of low signal intensity. Both tumor and subcutaneous fat remain of similar signal intensity.
