Polynomial economization of envelope detector static characteristics

The accuracy of the polynomial representation of envelope detector static transfer characteristics is analyzed. First, the basic relations are evaluated in the closed form. Then, the polynomial approximation is introduced in order to investigate the interaction between polynomial order and accuracy. Economization of the approximation is numerically proved. >
