RETRACTED: A 5-year clinical experience with bipolar radiofrequency ablation for permanent atrial fibrillation concomitant to coronary artery bypass grafting and aortic valve surgery [Interact CardioVasc Thorac Surg 2008;7:777–80]

2012
This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief after a reader brought to our attention that the data described in this article were the same as those included in 'Early and late results of permanent atrial fibrillation ablation surgery in aortic valve and CABG patients' by Geidel et al., published in Thorac Cardiovasc Surg 2008;56:386–90 (doi: 10.1055/s-2008-1038783). When submitting this article to Interactive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery, the corresponding author, on behalf of his co-authors, declared explicitly that the work was original and that it had neither been submitted nor published elsewhere. The corresponding author has admitted to infringing submission and copyright policies of the two journals. We apologise to the readers of Interactive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery and the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon journal for this redundant publication and any inconveniences this retraction may cause. doi of original article: doi:10.1510/icvts.2008.179622
