Kyste hydatique du foie ouvert dans le système veineux portal de découverte préopératoire : apport de l'imagerie The rupture of liver cyst hydatid in portal veins discovered in pre-operative phase: contribution of imagery

Hydatid cyst of liver is a parasitosis of endemic proportions in Tunisia. The purpose of this report is to describe a case involving portal vein rupture of a hydatid cyst of liver in a 49-year-old patient. Diagnosis was established in preoperatively phase by ultrasonography and CT-scan. Portal rupture remains an uncommon complication. This is only the first case reported in the literature up to now.
