Sedative effects of oral pregabalin premedication on intravenous sedation using propofol target-controlled infusion

Purpose The sedative effects of pregabalin during perioperative period have not been sufficiently characterized. The aim of this study was to verify the sedative effects of premedication with pregabalin on intravenous sedation (IVS) using propofol and also to assess the influences of this agent on circulation, respiration, and postanesthetic complications.
