Observation on cutaneous amyloidosis lesions by direct immunofluorescence method
1988
In this paper immunopathologic characteristics of 21 cases of cutaneous amyloidosis were observed with direct immunofluorescence method. It was found that in some areas adjacent to the epidermis, especially in the papillary body, there were immunoglobulin and complement depositions, and in a few cases IgG or IgM were deposited along the dermal-epidermal junction, or basement membrane zone. The possible diagnostic significance of the pathology was discussed.
