Global Sensitivity Approach for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Pathogenesis with Cytotoxic T-Lymphocytes and Infected Cells in Eclipse Phase
2019
The aim of the study is to perform a global sensitivity analysis for a model describing the HIV pathogenesis with cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and infected cells in eclipse phase. The viral dynamics of the model is defined by a system of five ordinary differential equations defining rates of variation for the cell populations. The global sensitivity is carried out by sensitivity heat maps and parameter sensitivity spectra generated for several scenarios corresponding to infection-free and endemic equilibria.
