Protective Effect of Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound on Memory Impairment and Brain Damage in a Rat Model of Vascular Dementia

The present study highlights undiscovered properties of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound and indicates that this physical stimulation may be used to improve memory performance and alleviate brain injuries in rats with bilateral common carotid artery occlusion.
