The clinical observation of three painless induced abortion

2009
Objective To compare the clinical effects of three different types of anesthesia treatment on induced abortion. Methods 300 early pregnant woman 300 pregnancy patients who asked for painless induced abortions were randomly divided into three groups, one with propofol intravenously, the other with propofol and sufentanil intravenously, and the third group with propofol and butorphanol intravenously. Observe the venous pain and the degree of cervix relaxation, dizziness, vomiting, bleeding volume, postoperative pain, physical activities and dosage of propofol in deferent groups. Results There were significant different in degree of cervical relaxation and physical activities between group B and C with group A (P<0.05), and also there were quite significant difference in intravenous pain, postoperative pain and propofol dosage between group B, C and A (P< 0.01).There was no difference in the time of waking and bleeding volume among the three groups. The incidence of dizziness of group B was remarkably higher than group A and C (P<0.01).Conclusion Butorphanol combined with propofol used in induced abortion was safe and effective and fewer side effects. It is worth promoting and applying at the grass-root hospitals. Key words: Propofol;  Butorphanol;  Sufentanil;  Induced abortion;  Anesthesia
