We describe a male newborn with the diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis who had skin and mucous membranesinvolvement. If Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a very rare disease, the congenital or newborn variety (Hashimoto-Pritzkerdisease) is even more 1,2, which has a frequence of 1-2/1000000 newborns.
