Research Progress of Graft Copolymerization and Modification of Casein

The physical and chemical properties,the modification cause and method,the initiation system,the reaction mechanism of the graft copolymerization onto casein were summarized.Tow-step single-electron-transfer mechanism and three-step coordinated polymerization mechanism were introduced in detail.Applications of the graft casein on leather finishing were prospected.
