Prospective Analysis of Grade III and IV Gliomas, With Considerations on Histological Classification. (An E.O.R.T.C. Brain Tumor Group Study)

The usefulness of a new antineoplastic treatment can be appreciated by comparison to a series of similar cases not receiving this treatment. Treated and untreated tumors have to be histologically classified and the used criteria and nomenclature must be uniform in both arms of the trial.
