La enseñanza del Español en China: Evolución histórica, situación actual y perspectivas

In this article we analyze the history and evolution of Spanish teaching in China throughout three clearly different stages (1949-1966, 1966-1978 y 1978-2010). We focus especially in the present situation in academic environment (methodology, Spanish Philology degree and postgraduate courses curriculums?) and in the efforts that the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science is putting into the promotion of Spanish teaching in China: from several activities (training courses, grants, magazine publishing, participation in teaching events, exhibitions, shows), to the program for lectorados MAEC-AECI, the Instituto Cervantes of Beiging, the Plan of promotion of Chinese teaching in secondary and superior teaching centers and, finally , the sign in 2007 of The memorandum of Understanding in Educational Matters and The Agreement of academic recognition of certificates and degrees?. In the short, medium and long term, the signing of this agreement represents a historical achievement in the exchange and mobility between students, teachers, research professors and, in general, for any graduate, which eventually means an essential approach between Spain and China.
