Eradication of Classical Swine Fever and Pseudorabies Disease in a Large Scale Pig Farm and Analysis of the Eradication

Concerning the severe infection condition of CSF and PR,a large scale pig farm in Shandong province was chosen to do eradication of CSF and PR in nucleus herd.Combined with serology,molecular biological diagnostic methods,the eradication was done after the study of epidemiology,infection status and the immune status of these two diseases for a year.The results showed that the virus carried rates of CSF and PR could be reduced to 3.03% and 3.23% with strict biological safety measures,high quality vaccines,reasonable immunization programs and the eradication of the infected pigs and the negative antibody pigs after twice eradication,and the production performance became much better.
