Guidelines on diagnosis and treatment of infertility.

Infertility can be devastating to couples in countries where the socio- psycho-cultural role of the family is of fundamental importance. This module was co-produced by the WHO and the United Nations Population Fund and is not only devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of infertility but it also helps the user become aware of their opinions and attitudes of this sensitive issue. The modules guidelines should be used to teach a group of students by a group leader but it can be individually studied by reading the training material and doing the prescribed exercises. The module has 4 chapters (e.g. Definitions Etiology Testing and Treatment of Infertility). Each chapter has 5 parts (preevaluation of attitudes preevaluation of knowledge learning objectives training content and exercises). As a whole this module prepares the user to define an infertility problem test for the areas that may be influencing the infertility understand and correlate the pathology of the infertility and treat the infertility both physically and mentally.
